Raspberry, blood plum and gentle spice. Supple, perfumed and beautifully balanced. In 2023, a cool growing season and mild summer produced wines of elegance, fine tannin and natural acidity. Harvested from a single block of Merlot planted in 1984 on our Napoleone Vineyard, the fruit was whole-berry fermented and gently pumped over twice daily.
Pressed to seasoned French oak barriques and matured for 18 months, this Merlot shows plush fruit, soft structure and an effortless charm — a graceful expression of the Yarra Valley in an exceptional vintage.
